The Broadmoor Hotel's Talent Acquisition Team is Hiring a Restaurant Server ($5.42/hr + service charge, Full Time & Part Time) Near Colorado Springs, CO

Summary: Responsible for function set-up and breakdown, places orders and serves food/beverages. Click HERE for Benefit Information! Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned: • Execute service duties in accordance with Forbes AAA inspection standards and Broadmoor Standards of Excellence • Maintain knowledge of, abide by, and enforce Colorado liquor laws • Set up and breakdown table and chairs • Ensure tables are neatly and appropriately set • Place orders and serves food/beverages including alcoholic beverages • Maintain stations • Respond to guests' needs and assists fellow staff • Bus and reset tables • Stack dishes on trays in an orderly and safe manner • Must remain available on the floor to perform additional duties upon request • Clean work area at the conclusion of shift • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines • Maintain knowledge of Broadmoor history and grounds • Maintain knowledge of Broadmoor restaurants and retail outlets • Maintain knowledge of local points of interest and activities Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
