Job Title: Catering Sales Manager Pay Rate: $55,000 annual salary, plus incentives. This person will design and execute successful events, while building long-term, value-based customer relationships. Learn more about Broadmoor here.What you will be doing:Respond to inquiries and actively solicit new business with the intention of confirming profitable social & corporate Catering business, contributing to the annual food and beverage team goal.Uncover clients’ implied needs and expectations and create customized proposals accordingly.Create and conduct memorable site inspection experiences, showcasing the resort and setting it apart from the competition to maximize business capture, through intuitive selling.Assist customers in planning creative and engaging food and beverage events and menus.Coordinate / Facilitate guestroom and restaurant reservations, décor, entertainment, audio visual and transportation for events.Create accurate and professional Group Resumes, Event Orders, Diagrams, and other communication forms as necessaryInteract with all hotel departments and partners, serving as the liaison between the hotel and the clients.Supervise the execution of catering events. Review client expectations with banquet captain. Ensure client satisfaction during events.Complete goals and projects as assigned and effectively communicate event details to the internal departments.Assist in developing and executing projects for assigned market areas to increase catering activity, volume, and profit.Protect and maximize function space for all applicable events.Attend scheduled departmental informational meetings.Contribute to a positive work environment. This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
