The Brand Leader is Hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist Near Greenville, SC

Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

Salary: $50,000 per year, salaried exempt, paid 2x monthly

Location/Hours: Greenville, SC or Hybrid upon approval

Start Date: TBD

Description:

The Brand Leader is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in digital marketing execution, working with the Digital Marketing Director to strategize, map, develop, execute, analyze, report, and optimize digital marketing campaigns to exceed digital goals. We're looking for a data-driven individual with proven experience managing all forms of digital/online advertising, including paid search, display, social media advertising, retargeting, SEO, email, and website marketing, and knows how to get under the hood and optimize all channels for top performance. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in major digital ad platforms and campaign objectives (certification preferred) and experienced with digital marketing KPIs and ROI utilizing Google Analytics or equivalent. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, think critically, problem solve, have keen attention to detail, be a hands-on collaborator, and have a passion for using data to connect the dots between marketing, ROI, and opportunity. 

Expectations:

  • General hours: Monday through Friday. Full-time (40 hours per week), arriving at the office by 9:00 am each day unless otherwise agreed upon
  • General team expectations concerning company culture will apply, including but not limited to participating in weekly team meetings and client or internal strategy meetings if/when needed
  • Stay current on digital marketing technology and trends, and adapt and apply new techniques and protocols where applicable
  • Monitor and track time using Teamwork

Roles & Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing*

  • Audit, analyze, research, and brainstorm client digital presence and opportunities
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop strategic and tactical plans for client digital marketing campaigns to achieve specific goals and deliver against defined metrics
  • Assist with brief creation and collaboration with the internal Creative team in the development of campaign creative
  • Execute digital marketing tactics for client campaigns
  • Measure and report performance of all digital optimization against defined KPIs
  • Provide insightful and actionable analysis that informs the ongoing tactical plans for client digital campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize client websites for lead generation and customer acquisition
  • Identify and optimize critical conversion points and user funnels.
  • Daily management of ongoing projects 

Web/SEO

  • Create and execute client marketing website editorial/content calendars 
  • Lead client web audits for accuracy, functionality, and optimization; providing suggestions for enhancements and executing when warranted
  • Lead client strategic and tactical SEO efforts, following best practices and using efficient tools
  • Create and execute client web and SEO analytics reports

*Digital marketing roles/responsibilities are inclusive of email and other CRM-based marketing efforts

Digital Marketing Qualifications/Skills:

  • Action-oriented bias, independent worker, and team collaborator
  • Ability to move projects and tasks through to completion 
  • Proven track record of taking initiative with minimal supervision 
  • Demonstrated digital marketing success
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven thinking
  • Self-motivated and customer-focused
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising engaging digital campaigns that drive conversion
  • Comfortable managing and speaking directly to clients
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Desire a dynamic growth environment 
  • Great communication skills and the desire to fit into The Brand Leader family

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working expertise and experience in digital marketing 
  • Major ad platform (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.) experience (certification preferred)
  • Experience with digital marketing KPIs and ROI 
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing paid search, display, social media, retargeting, database/CRM, email, and SEO campaigns
  • Experience with keyword research 
  • Experience in optimizing websites/landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with CRM tools and SaaS tools
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Databox, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Project management skills 

Benefits:

  • Medical benefits will be offered the first of the month following 30 days of full-time employment. The Brand Leader will pay 75% of the employee's medical premium cost, with the remainder being the employee’s responsibility.
  • A retirement plan is available upon start date as the company retirement plan is in force. The Brand Leader currently has a partial matching contribution for the first 3% you contribute to the plan. The amount of the match may change. See your company benefits administrator when you are ready and eligible to begin contributions (This may change at the company’s sole discretion, including eliminating benefits at any time). You may be eligible to re-enter the program quarterly if you pass on this.

Vacation:

Employees of The Brand Leader receive unlimited time off. Vacation requests must be submitted to the department supervisor (via our HR platform, BambooHR) for approval.

You will receive a Company Manual for a complete list of company guidelines, time off, policies, and procedures upon acceptance of a job offer. Also, it is understood that commissions will cease if/when employment is terminated or the employee resigns.
