The Digital Marketing Coordinator works as a part of the Development team, and helps to uncover the critical funds necessary to transform lives at The Bowery Mission. Through our Faith-based model, we seek not only to meet immediate needs, but to have a long-term impact on the men, women, and children who come to us. As a key member of The Bowery Mission, the Digital Marketing Coordinator is an essential team member and will support the Associate Director, Digital Marketing to help drive constituent awareness, acquisition, cultivation, and fundraising. The primary focus will be on audience/community building, cultivation, and management through peer-to-peer (P2P) and social media.

He/she is responsible for helping to update our website, execute email campaigns and develop posts for social media – ultimately driving supporter engagement and awareness through a multichannel approach. It is essential that the Coordinator of Digital Development be willing to collaborate, stay flexible and open-minded and grow as the Mission expands its digital reach.

Reports to: Associate Director, Digital Marketing

Requirements:

• Understands the organization'sStatement of Faithand adheres to the Code of Conduct
• 1 year experience with HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• 1 year of experience using an email service provider to create and deploy email campaigns
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop for web production (preferably CC 2017)
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in computer science, design or marketing fields, or equivalent work experience)
• Demonstrates and enjoys a balance of creative and technical skills
• Self-starter with excellent time management, flexibility and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail
• Eager to learn, collaborate and grow
• Growing passion for the homeless and marginalized men, women, and children

Preferred:

• Knowledge of JavaScript and Python
• Knowledge of segmentation, campaign analysis/reporting and marketing automation
• Understands and can troubleshoot cross-browser and cross-email client compatibility issues relating to code
• Experience with Google Analytics reporting
