Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an immediate opening for a Senior Quality Engineer to support Phantom Works in Kent, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals, program processes, and documentation.
- Provide interpretation of complex requirements.
- Develop quality metrics, design, and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Boeing, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities.
- Lead various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
- Develop and select methods for analysis, testing, and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
- Assist in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances.
- Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Develop and implement corrective actions.
- Perform benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
- Work under minimal direction.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Kent, WA.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or other technical degree
- Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
- 5 year's experience in a quality role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in a Software Quality role
- Experience in Supplier Quality processes
- Experience with new development programs
- US Clearance Preferred, not required
Typical Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range for senior: $116,450 - $157,550.
