TITLE: Fitness Center Attendant

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR JOB TITLE: Rehabilitation Services Director
Position Summary

An Anytime Fitness Fitness Center Attendant (FCA) focuses primarily on creating a safe space for members to “get to a healthier place”. An FCA must be comfortable and confident in interacting with current members and potential members. Attendant is responsible for the general upkeep of the club, following state mandated regulations for cleaning and sanitation as well as monitoring and enforcing club capacity. Attendant will also have general knowledge of club rules, regulations, and membership types to assist in promoting membership retention.

Essential Functions

• Monitor number of members through club app and website reservation system
• Clean and sanitize club equipment, public areas, locker rooms and bathrooms
• Monitor fitness room as members use exercise equipment
• Greet members and potential members and provide a positive experience
• Move weight plates up to 50 pounds to allow rotation and cleaning of equipment

Position Requirements

• Must be outgoing with exceptional customer service skills
• Knowledge of basic office equipment including common computer programs
• Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
• Flexible schedule of evening and weekend hours

Physical Requirements

Heavy Work – Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
