Maintenance Technician The Associated Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore is in search of a Maintenance Technician to provide commercial building and preventive maintenance and repair services for several buildings. Must have your own basic tools and transportation. In this role, you will: Report to the responsible party at each location to help troubleshoot, repair, or recommend next steps to facilitate timely completion of maintenance and repairs Assess and repair building issues consisting of minor carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work including but not limited to: changing light bulbs, ballasts, receptacles, switches, toilet parts, door hardware, air filters, decking, drywall, ceiling tiles, etc. Utilize our enterprise work order database to prioritize, track and report on your work Must be a professional and personable team player and self-starter capable of prioritizing and organizing your work with minimal supervision. Utilize best practices in all of your work to facilitate long lasting and appropriate solutions with minimal call backs and down time. What we're looking for: High school diploma or GED required. 5-8 years of related work experience is required Ability to communicate effectively Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with team This position is required to work on the interior and exterior of our buildings. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb or work off of a ladder. This skill set requires the use of everyday tools specific to the construction trades. Salary will be based on qualifications, skills and experience.
