The Albanese Organization is Hiring a Project Accountant Near Garden, NY

This position offers a great opportunity to join a well-established Real Estate organization as part of the Design & Construction department, interfacing directly with project managers and senior level project executives. The duties and abilities of the position shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Process AIA forms G702/G703.

· Monthly review of job cost activity ensuring consistent and proper coding.

· Obtain, review and track insurance policies and certificates.

· Prepare and process contracts, change orders, purchase orders.

· Extract pertinent information from agreements/contracts

· Enter budgets, commitments, and changes thereto and invoices into construction accounting software.

· Prepare lien waivers.

· Maintain paper and electronic records.

· Liaise with consultants, contractors/sub-contractors, and vendors.

· Provide administrative support to Project Executives and Managers.

· Assemble monthly partner’s reports.

· Prepare monthly construction loan draw packages within given deadlines.

Required Skills:

· Construction or Real Estate Development accounting experience.

· Strong organizational skills, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and time management abilities.

· High level of accuracy and attention to details.

· Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.

· Experience with Yardi Voyager Construction software preferred.
