Quality Control Inspector

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Mon-Fri, will be required to work 1 weekend every 6 weeks.

Pay: 

Thatcher Company, Inc. is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to perform quality control checks on multiple chemical products before and at conclusion of manufacturing processes. The position processes appropriate documentation and submits samples for retention purposes. This position also provides final approval for shipment and is located in Salt Lake City, UT.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Able to climb ladders
• Walk on hard surfaces and be on feet for extended periods of time walking between buildings.
• Able to work under pressure and exhibit extreme accuracy in their work.
• Willing and able to work in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Desire and demonstrated ability to work safely and promote safety and safe work practices.
• Be quality conscious.
• HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• Stability in work history. Ability to successfully pass a background check. This includes criminal as well as credit history.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language well. This is a safety as well as an operational issue.
• Aptitude to follow written and verbal instructions in detail and learn additional skills with experience.
• Capacity to work in extreme conditions (temperature, etc.) and lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Flexibility to work afternoon, graveyard or rotating shift if necessary.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment including use of tools and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work legally in the US
