We are the largest custom cabinet manufacturer in Colorado and we create dream spaces through superior customer experiences. We are seeking a Cabinet Carpentry Technician who wants to make a difference. We are team oriented and seek a core value fit to work with our dynamic service team. We need a person who loves working with people, who is organized, understands cabinetry, and has a desire to grow and learn.

General Purpose: The Field Service Technician is responsible for resolving punch items with Tharp products after installation. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability. The person in this position is essential in satisfying customer expectations and routinely represents the company in the field.

Job Description and Essential Functions:

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits and dispatches.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to complete punch lists.
  • Work with contractors and customers in understanding issues.
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports utilizing provided reporting tools.
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner.
  • Conducts vehicle inspections per DOT Regulations.
  • Clean and maintain vehicle.
  • Build positive relationships with customers.
  • Provide solutions to problems presented at the field installation site
  • Must be able to clearly communicate problems to Service Manager and Project Manager to provide solutions using their expertise in cabinetry.

  • Must be organized.
  • Appreciation for quality service and product.
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
  • Open to be coached and receive training on Tharp products.
  • Maintain a safe and quality-based effort for any products that are processed.
  • Process works in a timely, quality focused manner.
  • Display a basic understanding of the information contained on the cabinet layout drawings.
  • Ability to work well with a team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years trim carpentry/cabinet installation/wood working experience
  • Education or Formal Training: High School diploma preferred but not required
  • Colorado Driver’s license and a driving record that meets Tharp’s Requirements.
  • Must be at least 21 years old due to Insurance requirements.

Physical Activities and Safety:

40% standing,40% walking, 20 % sitting - Must be able to lift and carry 100 lbs. Must strictly adhere to company safety policy, including wearing safety glasses, gloves and a back brace where required
