Thales DIS USA Inc. is looking for an HSE Specialist to join our Manufacturing Plant in Montgomeryville, PA. The primary responsibilities for the HSE Specialist will be to implement and manage short and long-term activities for the Montgomeryville campus’ health and safety and environmental management. Key Responsibilities: Report Toxic Release Inventory (TRI), REACH, Annual Emissions Inventory (AIMS), EPA, DEP and local government permit requirements. Record and report Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). Provide assistance and support to the overall HSE function, prepare monthly reports, and advise management on matters pertaining to safety, health and the environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, laws and Thales policy. Manages the MSDS program. Evaluate HSE metrics, including Carbon Footprint. Manage vendors. Manage recycling initiatives. Address employee health and safety issues. Responsible for updating HSE policy/procedure/training documents as the document owner. Minimum Requirements & Physical Demands: Prove ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Must have exceptional organizational skills Minimum of 3-5 years HSE working experience Must have familiarity with ISO certifications Prolonged periods working on a PC Frequent visits to the production floor and/or the exterior of the facility Preferred Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in HSE or a related field Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment preferred This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check.
