Thales Defense & Security, Inc. is Hiring a Quality Control Inspector- 2nd Shift Near Clarksburg, MD

We currently have an opening for a Quality Control Inspector to work on our Second Shift (2:30 pm ET - 12:00 am ET) in our Clarksburg MD office. The desired candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect electrical assemblies in accordance with IPC standards.
  • Inspect mechanical assemblies in accordance with technical documentation.
  • Interface with the Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Communicate non-conforming material status.
  • Maintain high ethical standards, including compliance with all company procedures.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • US Citizenship Required. Must meet training and certificate requirements for working in a TSA shipping/receiving facility.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 plus years’ experience in manufacturing / receiving environment.
  • Experience in inspecting electrical / mechanical assemblies.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards.
  • Ability to read and understand technical data documentation.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Computer literate.
  • Proficient in English - both written and verbal.
  • Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.
