We are seeking to fill an Associate Software Engineer position located in our Aurora, IL Facility. This position reports to the Software Engineering Manager. This role is well suited for a highly motivated college graduate student interested in working with the Embedded Software Design team to perform low level design and support engineering tasks for embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Take part in TDSI Agile/Kanban software development process.
• Perform design and development of Helmet-mounted display systems.
• Implementation, integration, and testing support for embedded systems.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• May be selected for work that requires ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Level Security Clearance.
• 0-2 years' experience with BSEE/BSCE/BSME/BSCS or equivalent.
• Experience developing software in C/C , Python.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Fluent in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build and maintain relationships with team members.
• Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values. 

Preferred experience with the following:

• The software development process (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking).
• Agile methodologies and techniques such as Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development, etc.
• Familiarity with Linear Algebra and Matrix Math.
• Embedded Linux (Yocto, OpenEmbedded).
• Software development for embedded systems in a Linux environment.
• Software development experience with OpenGL.
