Texas State Optical Spring Rayford is currently looking for a polished & skilled Optical Lab Technician.
Are you an energetic, self-motivated person who perhaps may have experience in the optical field in either spectacles or contact lenses?
We are looking to hire an energetic candidate with a knowledge on edging lenses with Santinelli edger, maintain lab inventory, place lens orders, inspect finished eyewear, file/submit vision claims, & dispense. Must also feel comfortable & be willing to cover all responsibilities of the office. This includes, but is not limited to, knowledge in the latest frame fashions, great sales ability, lens technology, vision plans, insurance filing, scheduling appointments, pretesting, frame adjustments/measurements, and ability to convey to the patient lens materials and design. We are seeking a team member with a very positive attitude, motivated, out-going and friendly personality.
Saturdays are required. Employees are expected to attend bi-monthly staff meetings/training.
