Texas Health Joint Ventures is Hiring a House Supervisor - PRN Nights Near Rockwall, TX
- Represent hospital administration after hours and on weekends
- Collaborative relationships with nursing administration, department leadership, general nursing and department staff
- Facility rounding frequently and consistently
- Collaboration on and resolution of patient and caregiver needs
- Responds to emergency, rapid response and clinically complex events
- Serves as a clinical leader during emergencies
- Resource allocation
- Bed utilization and tracking
- Responds to patient, visitor, physician and staff concerns
- Mediation of conflicts
- Responds to staffing needs and concerns
- Serves as employee health after hours and on weekends
- Other responsibilities include: assessment of all requests for administrator-on-call contact during shift; development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures, as well as making suggestions for revision of same.
- Bachelors Degree nursing preferred
- 5 years experience as a clinical nurse with additional leadership experience as a charge nurse, preceptor, etc
- 3 years emergency or critical care nursing
- RN upon hire
- ACLS, BCLS and Crisis Prevention Intervention training
