Texas Health Joint Ventures is Hiring an Admitting Representative - FT Near Rockwall, TX
Texas Health Hospital Rockwall is currently seeking an Admitting Representative to join our Main ER. The Access Services Representative/Admitting Representative will ensure the quality of patient registrations to the hospital by obtaining thorough and accurate information in a timely and efficient manner. This position also requires interacting with ancillary departments and staff to ensure quality care for all patients. Serves as a patient resource in matters concerning financial/payment arrangements and will discuss financial matters for up-front collections or payment arrangements if necessary.
Schedule: Sunday-Tuesday 7a-7p and Wednesday 1p-7p
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Computer literate with excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to adjust with patient flow
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills
- Applicant must have previous hospital or physician office experience dealing with registration, insurance verification, benefits and collections.
- EPIC experience a plus
