Job Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow in the clinical area by assisting with rooming and chaperoning.
• Collect medical history and reason for a visit from the patient and take vital signs.
• Prepare exam room preparation and set up for procedures.
• Assist physicians with fertility procedures.
• Handle check-out, including scheduling, discussing next steps, and answering questions.
• Organize, stock, and clean exam rooms as well as clean and sterilize equipment.
• Manage patient education materials, prescriptions, orders, and test kits.
• Provide injection teaching to patients and administer injections as needed.
• Call in prescriptions under the direction of the physician or nurse.
• Phone triage and voicemail removal.
• Pull charts for patient calls, medication orders, and lab results.
• Communicate and explain laboratory results, physician orders, and next steps
• Maintain a specimen logo for endometrial biopsy and similar specimens.
• Comply with OSHA and HIPAA regulations to maintain quality control standards.

Qualifications

• Medical assistant or nursing assistant certification or high school diploma/GED.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong empathy and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver calm, compassionate care.
