Responsibilities
- Manage the queue of vendor invoices and employee expense reports to ensure timely payments are made
- Maintain the company’s vendor database; acquire W-9s, set up new vendors, and update existing vendor information
- Assist with payment and reconciliation of employee T&E credit cards and department purchasing cards
- Code incoming invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers and route for approvals
- Perform final review of employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies
- Respond timely to all vendor and in-house inquiries
- Assist with weekly check runs, monthly tax filings, and annual preparation of 1099’s
- Assist with weekly filing
- Perform correcting / adjusting journal entries as needed
- Other duties as may be reasonably assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable role
- Experience with Prologue Accounts Payable and/or Coupa strongly preferred
- Must be extremely detailed oriented and organized
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task in deadline focused environment
- Team player within the larger finance & accounting department with ability to work closely with all levels of management as needed
