Texas Bee Supply is Hiring a Part Time Bee Loader Near Ridge, TX

The Bee Supply is looking for a motivated, hard-working, self-starter to work as a bee loader during our busy bee pickup season. The ideal person would love working in an outdoor environment.

This job will include but is not limited to:

Placing a protective entrance cover over the front of beehives, closing entrances on bee nucs, picking up and placing the hives and nucs into customer vehicles, interacting with customers, and other duties as assigned.

Employees must be able and willing to repeatedly pick up hives weighing approximately 60 lbs and nucs weighing approximately 30 lbs. Employees must be willing to work around bees while wearing protective gear.

This is a temporary position. We expect this position to last from early April until late August. Hours will fluctuate from 26 to 34 hours per week.

Excellent candidates may be considered for a warehouse position once bee pickup season is over.

Employees must be available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Applicants not available on those days need not apply.

Background and drug test required.

Beekeeping experience a plus.

Salary: $15 per hour plus $500 bonus if you work every day you are scheduled during bee season.
