Collision Center Parts Assistant

Texarkana Auto Body Works is looking for a parts assistant to join our team. We offer a great working environment with the potential for advancement. Experience in the automotive industry is a benefit but not a requirement. Training will be available to the right candidate.

Job Duties

· Review estimates for accuracy during ordering of parts and pricing to prevent delays and repetitive orders.

· Verify parts match the invoice. Submit returns and collection of credits in a timely manner. Process all invoices in the management system and verify back ordered parts with estimated delivery dates.

· Answer telephone calls regarding parts orders and the status of pending orders. Relay this information to administrative staff.

· Will be required to drive a company vehicle in order to pick up parts and vehicles from vendors.

· Maintain relationships with parts vendors and address any concerns as well as packaging and managing returns. Contact vendors concerning damaged parts received.

· Match all parts received with vehicles in various stages of repair to ensure the correct items are on hand.

· Maintain supplies and in house materials by technicians during the repair process.

Job Requirements

· Valid drivers license

· Ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to pick up 50 pounds.

· Basic math and computer skills are required.

· The ability to work in a Team oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
