Early Intervention Specialist (EIS)/Service Coordinator
Role Responsibilities
The Early Intervention Specialist I (EIS) provides Specialized Skills Training (SST) and/or case management for a designated caseload within the two county area served by Project G.R.O.W. ECI (Waller and Fort Bend Counties). Activities provided are to meet the individualized needs of the child and their family. The EIS I may be a part of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in evaluating the needs of a child/family, developing the plan of care, and implementing activities to meet the needs of children and families. The EIS I is responsible for documentation of direct service visits. The EIS I works under the general supervision of a Program Supervisor, uses professional initiative, independent judgment and travels within the assigned catchment area. The EIS I is responsible and accountable for the adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy. Working hours are Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm. Adjusted time to meet the needs of families and the program may be required, as needed.
