The role will include providing management and oversight of airborne data acquisition. The position requires experience with airborne remote sensing data acquisition. Candidate must have proficiency with remote sensing, geomatics, weather.
Responsibilities:
· Ability to perform efficient flight planning.
· Ability to manage data acquisition for multiple aircraft/acquisitions simultaneously.
· Work with a team to evaluate environmental factors that affect acquisition success.
· Ability to manage large volumes of data.
· Update acquisition dashboard for client reporting.
· Ability to quickly determine areas of interest for refights.
· Must be able to synthesize multiple layers/factors into a go/no go decision for acquisition NTP.
Requirements:
· Experience with LiDAR and topobathymetric LiDAR sensors.
· Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Geomatics, Geography, GIS, Engineering, Hydrography, or similar field.
· Experience with flightline planning.
· Experience with airborne remote sensing data acquisition.
· Must have a valid driver license and be able to pass the company DMV check to be a Tetra Tech-qualified driver of corporate/rental vehicles.
· A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary Range: $75,000yr. - $90,000 yr.
