TEST & MEASUREMENT is Hiring a Calibration Technician Near Missouri City, MO

Test & Measurement, Inc. is a leading provider of ISO/IEC 17025 compliant commercial calibration and repair services to customers within the regions high technology markets. Test & Measurement’s primary market focus includes aviation, railroad and pharmaceutical product manufacturing, RF/Telecommunications, and Semiconductor/Electronic Components customers.

We currently have an immediate opening for a Calibration Technician at our Kansas City Laboratory. The ideal candidate will perform calibrations on electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical test and measurement equipment using standard and specialized hand tools and diagnostic test and measuring equipment. Performs with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform calibration of a wide variety of test and production equipment
  • Evaluate equipment to determine condition by utilizing appropriate test procedures, test equipment and ensure required services are properly performed
  • Provide error-free reports and documentation related to all calibration services performed, to include customer-specific data and test protocols.

Qualifications /Requirements PMEL, Associates in Applied Sciences Degree – Electronics Technology or equivalent

  • 2-3 years calibration experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of using standard and specialized hand tools and diagnostic test and measuring equipment.
  • Must have mathematic, written and verbal skills to perform duties and responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of industry quality standards; ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z-540, ISO 9000, QS9000 and /or cGMP
  • Formal training in calibration of Test Measurement Diagnostic Equipment, (PMEL) is preferred
  • Able to lift 45 pounds without assistance.

Work Schedule is 9/80. Every other Friday off.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
