What You Will Be Doing

The Senior User Experience (UX) Designer will play a crucial role within Tesseractdirectly shaping the end-user experience for our diagnostic platform across multiple users and stakeholders.

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will include: 

• Partnering with cross-functional team members in the conceptualization, development, and delivery of our end-to-end solution
• Working to understand and represent the interests and concerns of a variety of users including patients and healthcare providers in the user experience
• Translating user research findings into design decisions for an exceptional user experience
• Facilitating workshops with internal teams, external partners to establish alignment and help the team to define the end-to-end experience for the product 
• Championing user-centered design practice throughout the organization 
• Crafting product deliverables that help make problems and solutions tangible, insightful and compelling, i.e. storyboards, maps, process flows, interactive prototypes, and low-to-high fidelity mockups

What We Are Looking For

Baseline Skills, Experiences, & Attributes

• 5 years of experience in User Experience Design and User Research 
• Advanced degree in Industrial Design, HCI, User Interaction Design preferred
• Experience working in highly regulated industry, healthcare or medical device 
• Experience designing for a broad set of platforms including web, mobile, and device
• Willingness to pitch in on a variety of tasks and to help shape the growth and direction of UX within the broader R&D team
• Ability to keep an open mind with a “Yes, and..” and “How might we…?” attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience conducting user research, including defining research goals, drafting interview guides, and conducting interviews
• Experience with user-centered design frameworks for analysis and synthesis of user research alongside product and technical constraints
• Strong proficiency with design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Axure)
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Able to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously
• Takes joy in other’s successes
