This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule: Home -3 days/Office -2 days

Tessco is currently seeking an ambitious, motivated Jr. Graphic Designer. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a superior ability to drive design thinking from ideation through concept development, refinement, and execution. They should be comfortable collaborating with other designers, writers, product managers, and other stakeholders, both internally at Tessco and externally.

Responsibilities

Support the Tessco Creative Design Team in the conception, creation, and execution of:

• High-quality brand design solutions
• Email marketing materials, digital ad campaigns, print materials, social media content, and web content
• PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use
• Style guides and overall brand consistency
• Templates consistent with brand guidelines to enable everyday use
• Editing and proofreading of materials to adhere to preferred styles and standards
• Internal and external communications for Tessco and our manufacturer partner brands
• Original design concepts and/or logo lockups for new Tessco brands/recurring Tessco Events

Qualifications

• BA in Graphic Design or relevant field of study
• Experience in an internship or entry-level design role and comfortable working in an office setting
• Portfolio demonstrating excellent composition and design skills, as well as technical proficiency with
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility/ownership
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of design methods and techniques with awareness of the intended audience
• Ability to plan concepts by studying information and materials
• Strong organization skills
• Superb attention to detail
• Ability to execute feedback on deliverables
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work under tight deadlines

Additional desired skills, if possible:

• Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Word, developing and working with templates and masters
• Strong storytelling experience, able to take complicated subject matter and make it applicable to all audiences
• Some experience using Premiere, After Effects, Dreamweaver for video and email creation
