Seeking Managers (AGM/Manager) to join our team!
TESSA Restaurant has become one of the 'go-to' places on the UWS. Growing into its 10th year of business, our Modern Mediterranean/American inspired menu showcases local and regionally sources produce, with a progressive beverage and wine program, that keeps the locals coming back multiple times a week.
Ultimately looking for two manager that will report to the General Manager. We seek mature, well diversed talent who have a passion for hospitality, work well as part of a team, enjoy the floor and guest interaction, thrive in a high volume-busy environment. Must have pervious experience, calm personality, confident communication skills and have the ability to have fun while leading.
Required Skills:
- Front of house management, shift leadership, service direction
- Ability and desire to work on the dining room floor guiding and supporting staff
- Prior experience leading and developing a team
- Extensive knowledge of service, hospitality, food, wine, cocktails
- Proficient in iMac, POS, RESY, and other industry related programs such as TripleSeat & HotSchedules
- Cash handling, open and closing procedures
- Running staff meetings/pre-shifts meetings
- Have or willing to get Food Safety Certification
- Outstanding communication and administrative skills
- Dedication, reliability, commitment, passion, enthusiasm, knowledgable, strong work ethic
- Open availability, three - five days work week, up to 10-hour shifts for Salaried positions
- Ability to add to the TESSA vibe
What we need from you:
- Ideal candidate will have experience senior/supervising on the floor, looking to move into FOH management
- 2 years dining room experience in hospitality & fine/casual dining experience preferred/applicable experience accepted
- Excellent food and beverage knowledge
- Strong passion and skill for educating staff
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Understanding of iMac applications, InDesign, printing, HotSchedules
- Fluent in speaking and writing in English
