We are looking for a Full-Time Property Manager with strong leadership skills to manage the property's daily operations and tenant relations. Mapleview and Colony Terrace Apartments is HUD SEC. 8 mixed Senior and Family community with 348 units in Zanesville, OH.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Job Type: Full-time / Monday - Friday
Pay: Based on experiance
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manages and supervises the administration, maintenance, and general day-to-day operations of the property.
- Coordinates and schedules general upkeep, repairs, and unit remodeling projects of the property
- Determine whether repairs and/or maintenance are needed based on regular inspections of the grounds, facilities, and equipment.
- Familiar with HUD terms of occupancy and provides information about the community to prospective tenants.
- Ensures vacant units are turned and re-leased in a timely manner, and applicants are prescreened and ready to occupy units as soon as they become available.
- Maintains property records, including rental, maintenance, and property availability.
- Describes and imposes lease guidelines and rules to tenants, visitors, and the community.
- Promptly respond to and resolve tenant inquiries and emergencies
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Must have above-average computer skills and be proficient in mathematical skills, people skills, organization skills, and communication skills.
- Must be able to pass background screening
- Previous property management or leasing experience a plus
