Description

The Project Manager will ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way. Improve operational systems, processes, and best practices. Confirm processes remain legally compliant.

Tasks and Activities:

• Initially, the key project will be coordinating with the equipping and set up of TSC’s manufacturing operations in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico. Will require to travel to Mexico. It would be more frequent as we set-up and will transition into quarterly visits once the maquiladora is established.
• Monitoring the performance of the project team, ensuring that the operations meet TSC standards and internal regulations with maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Manage the specific challenges associated with border management and operations, applicable control and compliance requirements of import and export rules and regulations and determine an optimal shipping model based on raw materials south bound and finished product northbound.
• The ability to improve equipment, building and operational performance by optimizing resource use.
• Work with Executive, HR & ISO teams increating, maintaining, and training necessary to complete customer requirements efficiently and on time.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Attributes: 

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Computer literacy with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; SharePoint
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Fast learner that is willing to take on new challenges as they present themselves
• Creative problem solver with an ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects autonomously and in an organized fashion
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and presentation skills
