The Emergency Department Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Essential information is shared with healthcare team members through documentation and oral communication.
Education / Certification / Licensure:
- Current LPN licensure in the State of Tennessee or compact state in good standing
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required (must be obtained by the end of the month after 90 days of hire or placement)
- PALS Certification required (must be obtained by the end of the month after 90 days of hire or placement)
Experience / Skills:
- Experience caring for Behavioral Health patients preferred
