This role will function as an expert on the capabilities of the Episys Symitar system in regard to PowerOn programming, standard batch programming options, forms, and Episys parameter settings. This position is also responsible for the software development of the Credit Unions Core System Episys Symitar as well as following written specification for creating PowerOn programs to generate batch and on-demand specifies, reports, and file maintenance routines. Responsible for analyzing and developing programming logic, primarily as it relates to the core data processing system. Work with all departments to determine efficiencies and develop code to meet specific business needs. Use programming tools to design, analyze program code, and debug both new and existing software and reports. Recommend changes to improve systems, analyze business needs and translate them into product design, and write technical specifications to document program design.
