TemperPack is a rapidly growing company based in Richmond, Virginia and Las Vegas, Nevada. We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products. The markets we serve have an urgent need for disruptive, sustainable alternatives to replace the wide array of non-sustainable packaging materials conventionally used in the cold-chain such as Styrofoam coolers. Job Description:

The adoption and integration of technology and information systems into TemperPack's daily operations has increased significantly over the past year. TemperPack is seeking an analytical and inquisitive "systems thinker" to join the team as Systems Integration Engineer with the mission of architecting/building systems to meet business needs and promoting harmony between new and existing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a crossfunctional individual to bring his/her experience into a high-growth startup and have a profound impact.

Essential Job Functions:

• Understand the landscape of TemperPack's technology/information systems
• Understand the information-related needs of TemperPack business units
• Design integrations of independent systems to meet business needs
• Execute the integration design
• Collaborate with various business units to eliminate data redundancy and drive towards a "single source of truth"
• Determine what information needs to be exchanged between systems and how that information will be exchanged
• Monitor and analyze data from systems to ensure integrations are functioning properly
• Manage systems/integration projects from requirements gathering through delivery
• Ensure adequate testing is completed before go-lives
• Troubleshoot systems/integration related issues reported by stakeholders
• Track and resolve all systems/integration related support issues in TemperPack's helpdesk
• Maintain thorough documentation of systems/integrations delivered to the business
• Other systems/IT related tasks as needed
• Other duties as necessitated by the business

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of information systems and networks
• Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting languages (Python, preferred)
• Strong knowledge of web-based APIs
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud resources (IoT Hub, Functions, Queues, Storage, etc.)
• Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment as well as following and completing project tasks independently
• Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous projects in an organized and timely manner
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems according to established procedures

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems or related disciplines
• 5 years hands-on experience integrating information systems
• 5 years hands-on experience extracting data
• 2 years experience as a business or systems analyst
• 2 years experience with project management on software-related implementations
• 2 years hands-on experience with industrial automation systems (PLCs, historian, OPC U/A, etc.)
• 1 year(s) hands-on experience with Cloud architecture (Azure strongly preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 15 pounds unassisted
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
