Description:
TemperPack's R&D team is seeking a "full-stack" engineer to catalyze the company's cutting-edge product development efforts. Our Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and fabricating lab-scale tools/equipment that will be used bring new product ideas to life and prepare them for commercialization. Once a new product successfully advances through the proof-of-concept phase, our Mechanical Design Engineer will partner with peers from.
TemperPack's Engineering team to hand off the equipment design for scaling. No two projects will be the same and will require the successful candidate to be familiar with and comfortable operating in a hand-on capacity across all major engineering disciplines. While the ideal candidate is a mechanical engineer at heart, our Mechanical Design Engineer will utilize skills and knowledge of electrical/control systems, materials engineering, and more as part of the prototyping process. This interdisciplinary focus excites the ideal candidate and is perceived as an opportunity to evolve into a well-rounded engineer.
TemperPack moves quicker than most companies. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment and can shift efforts quickly as product development needs change. While the product development process is a collaborative and team effort, the Mechanical Design Engineer must be able to execute on his/her contributions to the project independently.
