Tellurian Services LLC is Hiring a Site Manager Near Charles, LA

Tellurian was founded by Charif Souki and Martin Houston and is led by President and CEO Octávio Simões. Tellurian intends to create value for shareholders by building a low-cost, global natural gas business, profitably delivering natural gas to customers worldwide. Tellurian is developing a portfolio of natural gas production, LNG trading, and infrastructure that includes an ~ 27.6 mtpa LNG export facility and an associated pipeline. Tellurian is based in Houston, Texas, and its common stock is listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "TELL". Position: Site Manager Description: Summary The Site Manager is the senior full-time Tellurian (Owner’s) representative at the Driftwood LNG site and is responsible for implementing and maintaining all systems and work processes necessary for the oversight and management of onsite construction activities. The position will be responsible for managing all on-site personnel and will be the EPC contractors’ primary Owner’s interface for site-related issues. The ideal candidate will have 20 years of construction and supervisory experience working on major LNG and/or O&G (Oil & Gas) projects. Essential Functions Accountable for all construction works and contractors at site Oversee the development and implementation of systems, processes, policies, and procedures to consistently meet the needs of Tellurian and are in alignment with industry best practices Manage site Owner site personnel / contractors by providing leadership, coordination, and communication Effectively manage site risk and change Inspect and monitor field conditions with an eye toward safety and productivity Monitor work for quality and specification conformance Work with the EPC to avoid/mitigate schedule and productivity impacts Translate project construction plans into coherent, credible, realistic project schedules Establish and track construction progress KPI’s Report on project construction status, performance, constraints, and issues Exhibit safety leadership by implementing a culture of commitment to safety Promote an incident and injury free culture Take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of the Driftwood project team and local community Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards in full compliance with Tellurian’s corporate policies and procedures Education/Language Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related area (an equivalent combination of educational qualification and work experience will be considered) Must have strong written and verbal skills (English language) Qualifications Required Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and industry codes and standards related to the design and construction of US LNG facilities Major project and site-based construction experience Prior experience managing construction, inspection and HSE teams in onsite environments Technical leadership and supervisory skills, including staff development and mentoring Preferred Senior owner’s side representative on an LSTK (Lump Sum Turn Key) EPC contract Prior working experience with Bechtel Critical Skills & Expectations Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal direction and oversight Commercial awareness and clear understanding of the Owner’s role on a Lump Sum EPC Project Punctual with excellent time management skills Willingness to perform hands-on cost control and scheduling tasks in addition to providing oversight Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and team leadership Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization, and with external stakeholders and regulators Ability to recognize deviations to the plan and implement effective change management Travel Limited domestic and international travel may be required to support some business activities Location: Lake Charles Time Type: Full time
