The Senior Project Manager shall:
- Assist in higher level strategic planning and integration efforts by providing consultation, facilitation, and project management services in support of C5ISC projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) documentation in support of Product Line projects, to include Project Charters, Project Tailoring Plans, Project Management Plans, and other Project Management artifacts and documentation as defined in the USCG Change Management and Configuration Policy.
- Assist with review of Integrated Government Schedules, identify project management risks, and identify the various tasks associated with the routine monitoring of the project and contract performance that measures compliance with the terms and conditions of the requirements.
- Assist in the preparatory and validation phases of the procurement process. Examples of this include, but are not limited to market research, requirements verification, and validation of receipt of goods and services.
- Provide a full range of technical writing and editorial support to include content creation, formatting, proofing, and editing services.
- Assist in the development, maintenance and improvement of Project Reporting artifacts and standards to support both macro and micro-level views of OISPL operations and initiatives.
- Explore embrace and apply agile principles and mindset within the context of project team and organization.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and support meetings and working group sessions to include, but not limited to: team collaboration, deep-dives, Service Management Reviews/Program Management Reviews (SMR/PMRs), round tables, briefings, senior leadership, project development, stand-up, status updates, and rigor meetings.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- PMP certification
- Seven (7) years of experience managing IT projects.
- Three (3) years of demonstrated proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Three (3) years of demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Three (3) years of demonstrated ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data.
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret federal acquisition policy, regulations, and directives.
