JOB TITLE: DevOps Engineer

LOCATION:  Marina del Rey, CA

DUTIES: Build, implement and maintain virtual machines using DevOps tools, processes, and procedures; provide support for production and testing environments including troubleshooting and improving existing infrastructure and processes; ensure company’s availability service-level agreements (SLA) are met through highly available and redundant infrastructure; utilize internal ticketing system effectively to manage workload and provide regular status updates on assigned projects and tickets; monitor, manage and track system performance to ensure customer satisfaction and provide data in support of customer queries and feed to performance and capacity planning; work with company’s security team to maintain the security and integrity of the network and systems; and participate in an on-call rotation shared across global operations teams.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related, plus two (2) years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a related position. Experience must include: DevOps automation configuration management and orchestration tools (Puppet, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, VPC networking, Bitbucket, and ElasticSearch); scripting languages (Python and Groovy); virtualized environments (VMWare, AWS, Lambda, and Fargate); database architecture (PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis); and networking design (TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing). The position allows some work-from-home flexibility with schedule to be approved by manager. Must be able to work on site as required.

RATE OF PAY: $80,122.00 to 150,000.00 per year
