Position Summary:

The Account Executive (Base Management) is responsible for securing sales on behalf of some of the nation’s largest telecom providers by cold calling, generating proposals, and selling new customers on an assigned campaign. The AE-BM has 2 primary sales responsibilities: First, managing a base of existing customers and focusing on renewals, upgrades, cross-sells, and upsells. Second, the AM-BM will be hunting for “net-new” revenue, meaning offering new products and solutions to both the existing base of customers and new customers alike. This will be done through selling on pain points, value, and other factors discovered through business-level conversations. TBI’s Omni-team sells telecom services on behalf of Spectrum, Comcast, Verizon, CenturyLink, and other carriers, offering agnostic advice and solutions.

This position pays a base of $20/hour with an uncapped commission structure.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals & performance KPI’s
  • Place outbound calls to existing & new customers (up to 125 calls per day)
  • Securing sales by assisting customers to renew, upgrade, cross-sell, and upsell higher valued packages
  • Following the sales cycle and closing opportunities by selling the benefits, features, and value of the proposed pricing as well as the telecom carrier
  • Focusing on selling “net-new” products/solutions to customers that fall in the “SMB” “Traditional” and “Strategic” product-set buckets.
  • Dedicated to on-going technology & solution training. Focus on strategic/next-gen products
  • Responds to post-sale support issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Generates accurate proposals based on customer needs using Excel/Word/PDF.
  • Establish and build professional & strong relationships within customers
  • Multi-tasking between various PC programs, carrier tools, and phone calls.
  • Entering correct customer data into NetSuite/CRM
  • Provides kind and courteous service to caller
  • Applies a professional and positive image and attitude towards all assigned tasks
  • Performs with a high level of focus, organization, and competitiveness
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and selling practices
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • HS Diploma required. College degree is recommended but not required
  • Basic computer proficiency including Word and Excel
  • 2 years of Sales Experience background in telecom
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to easily adapt to changes
  • Ideal candidate will demonstrate an energetic and “Can-Do” attitude
  • Thrives in a competitive environment; self-motivated
