Position Summary:

• Manage inventory to provide more efficient warehouse flow and ensure accurate receiving and order filling processes. Supervise and coordinate the quarterly physical inventory counting and recording.
• Actively involved with and assists as needed with inventory control. This includes stock rotation, expiration date and recall checks, damaged product minimization, stock adjustments, serial and lot number checks, cycle counting and full physical inventory processing as needed.
• Manage warehouse personnel and their activity, including recruiting, hiring, terminating, reviewing performance, and coaching employees.
• Implement business strategies set forth by senior management and participate in improving the business by administering and evaluating short- and long-term objectives for the warehouse as well as offering potential alternatives to existing methods.
• Ability to clearly read and interpret documents including (but not limited to) safety rules, corporate policies and procedures, operational and maintenance instructions, outside regulations, and electronic correspondence.
• Ability to clearly write and provide instruction documents including, safety rules, corporate policies and procedures, operational and maintenance instructions, outside regulations, and electronic correspondence.
• Support procurement team with material control, and disposition (MRB) and scrap.
• Assists in developing / adjusting of policies and procedures for warehouse operations.
• Develop, maintain, and administer safety, organization, and cleanliness standards for working areas, building and equipment.
• Implements processes and tools to enhance productivity and lower costs.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Five plus years of direct line supervisory experience or equivalent experience in an industrial environment.
• A strong understanding of inventory turns and days of inventory calculations is a plus.
• Experience with fast pace / high volume
• Computer proficiency
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs required.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and experience with MRP systems required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, pleasant, and a professional demeanor.
• OSHA Forklift Operator Certification
