Description:
Our client is the largest employer in all of Connecticut and we have been supporting them as a strategic partner for over a decade and have well over 300 placements enterprise wide since 2009 with more than half being in End User Services. Being that they are the largest employer in CT they span all the way across the state with locations from NY-RI. They also own an entity known as North East Medical Group or better known under the acronym NEMG. This group has approximately 150 off site outpatient or ambulatory locations and is serviced by a group called Fleet Services.
With the current state of events, our client is looking to build out their work force to support the contingency plan at each location as they will be allowing their current employees a level of flexibility that will take them out of the office. With schools releasing students they need to allow employees to work remote and this causes a need to backfill their work onsite.
The expectation of these folks is they will be used for project-based work along with their day to day work, such as builds and deployments on top of cleanup work. They also need to cover day to day support such as rounding, troubleshooting end user issues by working with a WOW (workstation on wheels) and moving around the hospital going from location to location resolving and documenting assigned tasks within the Remedy ticketing system. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, energetic, and possess a go getter attitude. **Attitude and customer service are very important in this environment as they will need to provide white glove assistance to Doctors, Nurses, Managers, and Hospital staff. The candidates will be required to deploy and support desktops, thin clients, workstations, and multi-functional printers in clinical areas. This position is a contract to start but there is always an opportunity to impress the management staff and find a longer-term position as we have seen that happen many times in the past. Our client promotes that and typically uses these opportunities to meet candidates and build a farm team.
