Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable sales administrator to strengthen our sales process by supporting the sales team with all ongoing administrative tasks. The sales administrator verifies customer information, ensures CRM and other sales tools are properly maintained, completes monthly sales reports and provides the Senior VP of Sales with all administrative support.

To ensure success, the sales administrator is experienced in a corporate sales environment and advanced administrative skills. The sales administrator understands sales performance metrics and helps to ensure sales targets are consistently met.

Sales Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Maintains all sales tools in support of the sales team. This includes HubSpot, SalesIntel, ConnectWise, and any other workflow platforms.
  • Attends all sales meetings and maintains notes and updates team on takeaways.
  • Aids in the preparation for all sales functions including conferences, sales calls, and client meetings.
  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer records.
  • Compiling monthly sales reports as directed by the Senior VP Sales.
  • Works with Solution Architects to ensure timely responsiveness in producing SOWs and other sales related materials.
  • Directing feedback from customers to relevant departments.
  • Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, if requested.

Sales Administrator Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales administration, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Experience with industry software such as HubSpot, ConnectWise, SalesIntel, PowerBi or similar.
  • Advanced knowledge of administrative recordkeeping.
  • Able to excel independently or in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with sales reports and sales records.
  • Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education & Previous Experience:

  • >5 years of professional experience
  • Solid sales/sales support and administrative experience ideally within the IT, VAR, SaaS and/or MSP space
  • BA/BS, preferred or equivalent experience
