TechServ Engineering & Consulting, LTD is Hiring a Business Analyst Near Tyler, TX
Essential Functions:
- Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business
- Job costing/profitability analysis along with variance analysis
- Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
- Generates, maintains, and updates Crystal Reports, connecting to multiple data sources
- Experience with other reporting tools like Power BI, Dashboards, Excel and SQL.
- Querying & Mapping data from legacy systems and importing to our new ERP system with quality checks.
- Managing projects precisely, developing and implanting project plans, and monitoring performance with attention to transparent communication at all levels
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
- Having a systematic and logical approach to problem solving
- Ability to collaborate with a team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Advanced technical skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting and standing required.
- Occasional need to lift, pull, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner.
- Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and company needs.
Environmental/Working Conditions:
- Works in a routine office environment.
- Ability to work extended hours, as needed.
