TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATES INC is Hiring a Territory Sales Representative Near Charlotte, NC

Summary

Business Development Representative is responsible for new business development. Activities include calling leads from our CRM, gathering information to qualify accounts, setting, and conducting first-time appointments with prospects, on-going lead and prospect management and closing new logo MRR. There are no account management duties or additional sales opportunities with closed accounts/customers. Territory includes Professional Services Businesses with 20-200 staff members in and around assigned geographic area.

Duties & Responsibilities

    • Represents Technology Associates with the utmost level of integrity and respect for others.
    • Exemplifies Technology Associates Core Values.
    • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
    • Actively participates in Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly Sales Meetings.
    • Ensures CRM and playbooks are properly maintained and updated in a timely manner.
    • Makes 300 dials per week, speaks with 20-25 decision-makers, sets 1-2 first-time appointments.
    • Attends first-time appointments and completes Appointment Review Sheet for each appointment.
    • Actively manages leads through the sales process, attending subsequent appointments as necessary.
    • Builds and maintains a network of 5-7 COIs/networking peers who are targeting our same market.
    • Active participation in networking events and associations of target markets.
    • Is an active student of sales – ongoing reading/self-improvement.
    • Meets quota of $7,500 in new logo Insight Services MRR / quarter after initial two-quarter (6-month) ramp up period.

Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of direct work experience in an outside sales role with proven results selling services (versus products) of similar value to business leaders in our target markets (professional services businesses with 20-200 desktops/users)
    • Clear of any non-compete agreements
    • Located in the assigned geographic area
