Technical Research & Manufacturing Inc is Hiring a Test Technician Near Bedford, NH

Description

Job Summary/Objectives

The Test Technician is a member of the Manufacturing Team; they will test, tune, and troubleshoot our RF Microwave products to ensure they achieve the product design specifications.

What Your Weeks Will Look Like:

You will:

  • Set up and calibrate the various pieces of equipment used to validate our products performance
  • Test, tune, and troubleshoot a variety of microwave products to achieve customer and design specifications
  • Record the test data, and sign documentation verifying that the unit is in compliance to the requirements

Other Aspects of the Position:

  • Identify manufacturing process and assembly details that effect performance of units
  • Support the company through participation of continuous improvement efforts
  • May occasionally need to travel to work with products in the field or at a supplier

The Skills You Need to be Successful:

  • Experience working with Vector Network Analyzers
  • Familiarity with passive RF Microwave component functions and terminology
  • Experience working with Military documentation
  • Demonstrate the ability to translate product knowledge into tuning techniques and approaches that have a positive impact on performance specifications while tuning and troubleshooting
  • Strong team contributor in a dynamic work flow environment with good time management skills
  • Strong hand eye coordination to handle blade and trimming circuits
  • Proven ability to work under a microscope
  • Beneficial if they are J-STD001 solder certified

Requirements

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • US Citizenship
  • 3 years of experience in the RF Microwave or related industry
  • Technical school or equivalent preferredĀ
