Technical Professionals Group is Hiring a Test Technician Near Fowlerville, MI
- Mechanical background to support component installation
- Ability to operate all auto repair tools, including alignment, tire mount/balance machine ASE Certification
- Proficient computer skills, and must be able to operate other office equipment
- Perform job duties onsite, except those duties that are customarily or by their nature performed offsite (for example, offsite customer visits)
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where constructive feedback is encouraged
- Self-motivated, and work effectively in a team setting
- Committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all client safety policies
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Willing to switch from first to second shift when needed to meet business needs
- Willing and available to work such weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs
- Ability to work in a fast paced, multicultural environment• Good written and verbal communication skills.• Good organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-up abilities.• Good attention to documentation.• Proficiency of Excel, Word, Share Point, and PowerPoint.• A safety-first mindset that "all incidents are preventable".• A desire to support the success of the team.• A positive attitude toward learning new processes and procedures.• Cooperate and demonstrate flexibility as a team member.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Install data acquisition per test requirements and support mechanical duties as needed
- Willing to travel as needed (30%)
- Willing and available to work 8.0 hours per day, 5 days per week, plus other hours per day or week as are necessary or desirable to meet business needs
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
- Evaluate test results and prepare routine test reports as necessary
- Experience in Vehicle Dynamics, NV and Vehicle Durability (plus)
- Advanced Driver skills with limit handling (plus)
Desired skillset
• Vehicle performance evaluation experience (static and dynamic).• Advanced Automotive Diagnostics (CAN Data collection/reading, Panel4, Techstream, etc).• Experience with trailer towing.
