Responsibilities
- Provides expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based scientific, technical, and business software systems.
- Reviews and evaluates systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety.
- Confirms design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in software engineering in one or more programming languages.
- Experience in design develop, code, test, and debug software. Proficient with software development life-cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of system architecture, object-oriented design, and design patterns that scale and are perform-ant.
- Knowledge of and experience working with programming languages like Java, SQL, R, Python etc.
- DESIRED: Do you have experience at Department of Education
- United States citizenship
