Technical and Management Resources, Inc. is Hiring a Logistics Specialist Near Washington, DC

Responsibilities

  • Provides inventory, document, and maintain complete records of all Government- owned/Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to include hardware, received and distributed, in accordance with Instructions/Manuals and SOPs.
  • Oversees and coordinates program activities designed to ensure effective and economical support for production of logistics services.
  • Receives, delivers and turns-in property.
  • Ensures materials, goods, labor, equipment, supplies, and other requirements are delivered in good order at an optimum time and cost.
  • Provides subcontractors, suppliers, management, and customers with logistics technology that ensures effective and economical support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics management or systems engineering.
  • 3-5 years experience in logistics.
  • Experience in logistic packing and shipment of assets. Understanding of IT Service Management processes.
  • Experience with issuing and managing hand receipts to ensure property accountability.
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently with little supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point required.
  • Ability to use desktop computers, mobile scanners, to inventory equipment and to access asset management software and ticketing system.
  • DESIRED: Do you have experience at Department of Education
  • United States citizenship
