Overview

The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of all Department of Defense (DoD) commissaries worldwide. The objective is to support DeCA in meeting operational and information technology objectives of the Data Center and Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) programs. This effort represents a continuation of system lifecycle support services for DeCA’s Data Center and Enterprise Service Desk environments.

Responsibilities

Knowledge/Experience Requirements

Database Management System Support; Customer Service/Support; Data Backup/Restore

Excellent Oral/Written Communication; Remote Troubleshooting; Software Troubleshooting; Ticketing System Experience (e.g. BMC Remedy/ServiceNow/SolarWinds/Ivanti); Oracle; SQL

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor Degree or HS/GED 5 yrs in Windows Computing Environment

Certification 

• CompTIA Security CE / CySA / SSCP / GSEC

Additional Certifications

*Must have 1 each Computing Environment/Service Management

• Computing Environment:
  • *Microsoft: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MDAA)
  • CASP CE, CISM, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, GCIH
  • MCSE: Core Infrastructure, Data Management and Analytics
  • MCSA: Windows Server, SQL Database Administration, SQL Server
  • CCNA, VMWare Certified Technical Associate
  • CAPM, PMP, SCRUM, AGILE, LEAN
  • MS Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect

• Service Management:
  • AXELOS: ITIL Foundation Certification, ITIL Course
  • IT Service Management Course (Any)
