Technical and Management Resources, Inc. is Hiring an Acquisition Specialist Near Washington, DC

Responsibilities

  • Advise and support all phases of acquisition and contracting from initial planning through execution and contract/agreement closeout.
  • Provide advice regarding acquisition policies and approaches.
  • Provide recommendations to adapt, apply, and embed acquisition best practices and lessons learned throughout the project life cycle.
  • Provide acquisition support to project teams for their preparation of procurement request packages and modifications (example documents include statement of work, work breakdown structure, proposal content and evaluation criteria, market research reports, justifications for non-competitive actions, contract data requirements list, determination and finding, etc.).
  • Assist in tracking acquisition project-essential data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related scientific or technical field
  • 7 years of relevant acquisition experience.
  • Expereince with federal and contracting (i.e., FAR) requirements including Federal Acquisition life-cycle experience.
  • Proficient in drafting (for Government approval) procurement request package documents.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects which includes prioritizing, tracking, attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through to project completion.
  • DESIRED: Do you have experience at Department of Education
  • United States citizenship
