TMB has an exciting opportuinity for a Data Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and recommendations to government senior level staff.
  • Apply your background and experience gained from military or defense department service to solve future sustainment needs and to correct problem areas.
  • Initiate and develop planning ideas in Duration Analysis, Strategic Integrated Scheduling Reviews, and Availability Duration Scorecard metrics.
  • Lead and/or participate on the required approach to proactively identify, assess, monitor, and manage risks within the Navy surface fleet and develop strategies for effective risk mitigation, avoidance, transfer, or acceptance as appropriate. You will obtain status updates on risks, issues, and action items to ensure risks/issues are being mitigated and action items are being addressed.
  • Lead and/or participate in working groups, program development forums, analytical activities, readiness exercises, training, education, and other forums as required to accomplish contract requirements.
  • Monitor standards for the quality of programs and documents and assist in the resolution of project and program priorities.
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation skills and develop briefings, documents, papers, conceptual and analytical reports for clients.
  • As needed, provide direction, training, and assistance to other project staff.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • An Active DoD Govt Issued Secret Clearance at time of application.
  • A Bachelor’s degree (mathematics or statistics preferred) plus 2 years directly relevant work experience.
  • In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 5 years applicable work experience.
  • Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
  • Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
  • Full COVID vaccination is required for this postion.
