Summary of Position

The Controller Commercial/Cost Systems is responsible to plan, direct and control the company's cost accounting systems, support estimating, proposals and CAS compliance for government programs. In conjunction with the corporate finance team, ensure that the Company achieves its growth and profitability goals by developing and implementing overall financial strategy, systems and controls.

Essential Functions

• Ensure that company standard cost and overhead rates are accurate and support the quoting and estimating process.
• Consolidate estimates from multiple sources for quote development.
• Quoting/Pricing data consolidation and trend analysis.
• Populate customer pricing documents.
• Define, implement and audit required cost accounting and reporting processes for government programs ensuring compliance with FAR / CAS / TINA requirements.
• Implement, maintain, and review policies and processes to ensure compliance with FAR / CAS requirements and other applicable processes required for doing business with government.
• Oversee companywide management of government T&E process, ensuring strong controls and reporting.
• Manage the financial reporting for the cost center in Mexico.
• In conjunction with the corporate accounting team, assist in the processes for the financial planning, annual budget and monthly financial forecast processes for all Enterprise cost centers and activities (including integrated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecast model).
• Support shared services model for transaction processes and continue to identify additional opportunities.
• Support companywide cost savings initiatives.
• Assist in ensuring the financial policies, controls and processes are properly documented, tested, and embedded in the business, in accordance US GAAP and other applicable standards.
• Develop system processes to generate better data, more efficiently (Qlikview, SAP reports, macros, etc.)
• Any additional duties assigned by management.

Required Skills, Education & Experience
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:

• BS/BA in Accounting or related subjects.
• Five to Seven years plus experience in progressively responsible positions in Financial Accounting and Management.
• Excellent accounting, control and process knowledge and a proven ability to implement effective processes and systems across multiple sites.
• Experience with implementing and maintaining FAR / CAS and other government compliance processes preferred.
• Experience with program, percentage-of-completion, and cost accounting; manufacturing experience required; aerospace experience strongly preferred.
• SAP and Hyperion experience.
• Excel super user.
• This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person” as defined by 22.C.F.R. § is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
