Tea Forte, Inc. is Hiring a Supply Planner Near Maynard, MA

Description

Tea Forté, a fast-growing tea and coffee company headquartered in Maynard, MA, is expanding our team with a new Supply Planner role, reporting to the Planning and Program Manager. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain Rolling 12-Mo supply needs for future rough cut capacity planning.
  • Create monthly purchasing and production plans for all suppliers.
  • Place purchase orders and manage all purchase order communication and revisions.
  • Manage raw materials planning and inventory.
  • Main point of contact for vendor communication.
  • Manage lead times and MOQ requirements.
  • Communicate to senior leadership on supply risks and opportunities, capacity planning, and inventory coverage projections.
  • Support S&OP process; Prepare Supply Review for monthly IBP (S&OP) cycle and meetings.
  • Monitor existing and incoming inventory, alert stakeholders on excess inventory as well as inventory shortages.
  • Create At Risk, Inbound PO, and Inventory reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing sku rationalization process.
  • Analyze inventory and supply issues for root causes and takes corrective actions to resolve.
  • Work cross-functionally with logistics, sales, customer experience and finance.

Requirements

  • Highly analytical, able to work cross functionally, excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an analytical field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • Experience in working within a S&OP (IBP) process.
  • Proven experience in supply planning, production planning, purchasing, and raw materials management
  • Excel super user, experienced with PowerPoint.
  • Within driving distance of Maynard, MA.
  • Experience working with NetSuite ERP.
  • CPG, good/beverage background.
  • Applicable supply chain certifications/credentials (such as APICS), highly preferred.
